Lois Freedman, M.Ed., C.C.E. has given numerous group presentations since 2001. She is available as a speaker and group facilitator for audiences of childbearing women and/or health care providers and educators. A sampling of past and upcoming speaking engagements include: 

  • Massachusetts Midwives Alliance Basic Midwifery Course, August 2009, www.massmidwives.org,  Lois facilitated a Birth Circle for midwifery students at Mothers and Company in Boylston, MA. This birth circle was designed to allow the midwifery students to tell their birth stories in a safe and nurturing environment as well as to connect as a group as they started their academic year in the MMA Basic Midwifery Course.
